A supercell thunderstorm moved across southern Tuscaloosa County causing considerable damage. The storm dropped hail from pea to baseball size. The hail fell across the southern areas of Tuscaloosa, Fosters, Ralph, Taylorville, and Duncanville. In the city of Tuscaloosa, one business, 22 apartment buildings, and 122 homes were damaged from the large hail.
