Numerous reports were received from trained spotters, broadcast media, and social media of large hail falling over a 20-minute period across southeastern Palm Beach County. Most reports were at least quarter sized, with several reports of ping pong and golf ball sized hail. The largest hail was reported as slightly larger than golf balls along US 1 in Hypoluxo.
