The public observed golf ball-sized hail across northern Catoosa county, including the northern side of Ringgold.

Numerous reports of large hail, ranging in size from quarters to golf balls were received from the public. Damage was reported to roofs of several homes in the area. Most of the golf ball-sized hail was reported in the Ringgold area, with mostly quarter to half-dollar-sized hail elsewhere.
