Trained spotter reported quarter to ping pong sized hail off of Hwy 27 between Powell Road and Armstrong Mill Road.

April 19, 2006 · 1.75″ (golf ball)

Several reports of golf ball-sized hail were received from storm spotters of golf ball-sized hail from southeast of Centralhatchee to the far southeast corner of Heard county in Corinth, including the south side of Franklin. The Heard County Emergency Management Director reported quarter-sized hail in the northeast part of the county east of Centralhatchee.
