The public observed golf ball-sized hail near Eton and quarter-sized hail west of Chatsworth. Radar data suggests that at least quarter-sized hail continued east to northeast of Eton to near Conasauga Lake on the eastern border of the county.

Personnel at the Cohutta Lodge at Fort Mountain State Park observed golf ball-sized hail.
