Half dollar sized hail reported near the intersection of carver mill road and dean trail.

April 27, 2011 · 1.75″ (golf ball)

The public observed golf ball-sized hail near Talking Rock. WSR-88D radar data suggests that similar-sized hail likely fell across much of the county from west of Hinton to the northeast corner of the county near Sequoyah Lake.

March 27, 2005 · 2.75″ (baseball)

Numerous reports of hail, ranging in size from quarters to golf balls, were received from the public and an amateur radio operator. However, three reports of hail the size of baseballs were also received in the same area.
