A few quarter-sized hailstones fell at the National Weather Service office just east of Lincoln.

August 13, 2011 · 2.5″ (tennis ball)

Large hail which increased in size from 1.00 in diameter to 2.50 in diameter damaged roofs and numerous cars in Mount Pulaski. A soybean field just southwest of the city was also destroyed.

August 18, 2001 · 3.75″ (softball)

Hail varying in size from 3/4 inch to 3.75 inches fell across northern Logan County. The largest hail occurred in San Jose.
