Large hail caused considerable crop damage along Route 101 near Littleton.

August 18, 1999 · 2.75″ (baseball)

Hail up to baseball size fell, especially to the north and west of Rushville. Hundreds of cars were damaged by the hail. Numerous houses sustained roof damage and thousands of acres of corn and soybeans damaged.

May 12, 1998 · 4.5″ (grapefruit)

Hail fell over Littleton covering the ground. Some of the hail stones were 4.5 inches in diameter. Numerous cars and machinery sustained damage.
