There were numerous reports of large hail, up to baseball size, that occurred across parts of Morrison County. Hail was reported near Cushing, then east-southeast to Randall, Camp Ripley area, and north of Freedhem. The same line of storms moved southeast to near Hillman, but no additional reports of hail was observed.

Baseball size hail fell in Camp Ripley during the evening of Wednesday, August 12th. The next morning, golf ball size hail was still in the ditches where the large hail fell the night before.
