Half dollar sized hail fell in Meadville.

March 17, 2016 · 2.75″ (baseball)

A lone thunderstorm produced a swath of hail across portions of Franklin County. The largest hail that occurred was baseball size hail four miles northeast of Little Springs. Quarter to ping pong ball size hail also occurred about three miles east northeast of Little Springs.

March 18, 2013 · 2.75″ (baseball)

A swath of softball size hail fell across the county as a severe storm moved east. The hail damaged numerous vehicles and roof tops.
