Ping pong ball size hail was measured near Puxico as a supercell storm moved eastward through the area.

June 30, 2009 · 3.0″ (tea cup)

Hailstones measuring 3 inches in diameter were photographed by an observer east of Bloomfield. Vehicles received considerable damage. Golf-ball size hail was reported north of Bloomfield.

July 3, 1997 · 3.5″ (softball)

A severe thunderstorm continued east from Butler County, producing a swath of large hail from Dudley to Dexter. A report of softball size hail was received from the Dudley area, where vehicles were damaged on U.S. 60. Golf ball hail occurred near Dexter.
