Public report of hail measured at 1 inch in diameter.

September 18, 2005 · 2.75″ (baseball)

Golfball to baseball size hail was reported from a supercell that tracked across the Neligh and Oakdale areas. The hail caused building and vehicle damage and was accompanied by wind gusts estimated at near 60 mph in the Oakdale area. Most of the larger hail was also reported near Oakdale.

The second HP supercell also produced large hail, this report was near baseball size, about the size that fell the previous hour. The large hail broke a few car windows and damaged the siding of several houses in the area.
