A swath of severe hail began in far northwestern Madison County and extended southeast into central Madison County. The office received several reports of hail ranging from half-dollar to baseball sized. One report between Tilden and Meadow Grove came into the office of a shattered windshield.
· 3.0″ (tea cup)
The second supercell thunderstorm that moved across Madison county during the evening produced hail up to baseball-size in the Norfolk area. The hail caused considerable vehicle damage in town along with roof and siding damage.
