Wind driven hail. Large accumulations of hail making roads slushy.

July 25, 1994 · 1.75″ (golf ball)

Afternoon thunderstorms produced damaging winds which downed trees and power lines. In Niagara County, golf ball-sized hail resulted in an estimated $4 million in damage to apple, pepper, tomato, eggplant and squash crops.
