A severe thunderstorm dropped large hail from Exton in West Whiteland Township south to West Chester. In West Chester, walnut size to lime size hail was reported.

May 29, 1995 · 2.75″ (baseball)

,,,,,,,,Thunderstorm Winds A severe thunderstorm produced damaging wind gusts and hail as large as baseballs in the northern Chester County Townships of Warwick, East Vincent and all of the Coventries. The very large hail (The report of baseball-size hail came from East Coventry Township) caused damage to homes, vehicles and businesses.
