July 22, 2023 · 1.75″ (golf ball)

Large hail lasted at least 5 minutes in duration. There was damage to numerous vehicles and roofs in the neighborhood. Many older roofs are having to be replaced. The hail was also wind driven and estimated the winds gusted up to 50 mph. There were several large branches downed in the area.

April 10, 2021 · 4.0″ (softball)

Two separate reports of softball size hail in Orange Beach. Significant hail damage reported to numerous vehicles and metal roofs in the area. This also set the record as the largest hail stone ever reported in Baldwin County.

January 22, 2017 · 2.0″ (hen egg)
