Mainly baseball size hail fell at this location, but one hailstone was measured at 4 inches in diameter. Significant damage occurred to roofs of buildings and to vehicles.

July 29, 2024 · 3.0″ (tea cup)

An intense thunderstorm passed over the Harmon Lake area, including the campgrounds on the north side, and produced hail as large as three inches in diameter. Many campers and structures sustained significant damage.
