· 1.25″ (half dollar)
A storm chaser reported a swath of hail northwest of Dimmitt ranging in size from pennies to half dollar size.
· 3.5″ (softball)
A slow moving supercell produced a wide swath of very large hail from south of Dimmitt into the town of Dimmitt. Numerous reports were received of hail ranging from golf ball size to as large as 3.50 inches in diameter. No damage was reported.
· 2.8″ (baseball)
A NWS cooperative weather observer and a storm chaser reported hail a bit larger than baseball size just north of Dimmitt. Hail damage in this area was not known.
