Ping pong ball-size hail was reported by the public just south of Forsan. The time of occurrence is estimated by radar.
· 2.5″ (tennis ball)
A Texas Tech Mesonet extension agent reported tennis ball size hail and extensive hail damage to sorghum and cotton crops near the area. Public reports indicated over 4500 acres of cotton were destroyed by the hail. In addition, 1000 acres of sorghum were destroyed. Several homes also sustained roof damage from the large hail.

Storm spotters reported large hail ranging in size from golballs to baseballs south of Garden City on Highway 33.
