Broadcast media reported hail up to golf ball size near Camp Verde.

March 23, 2025 · 2.75″ (baseball)

A thunderstorm produced baseball size hail near Methodist Encampment Rd. in Kerrville.

June 23, 1994 · 3.0″ (tea cup)

Residents of Kerrville reported a dark green color to the clouds as the thunderstorm approached. The storm produced a small tornado that was very short-lived. No significant damage was attributed to the tornado. However, gusts from the thunderstorm estimated at over 70 mph blew over numerous trees and damaged roofs. The worst damage occurred in the east part of Kerrville, near Shreiner College.
