Local broadcast media relayed a report of quarter size hail in the town of Littlefield.

Law enforcement officials reported giant softball size hail near U.S. Highway 70 west of Earth, just east of the Bailey and Lamb County line. The hail damaged several vehicles and a few rural residences.

A second supercell storm developed over northeastern Lamb County, and produced giant hail in the Olton vicinity. Local officials reported four and a half inch diameter hailstones along Farm to Market Road 168 just south of Olton shortly after 19:00 CST. At least minor damage occurred to several vehicles.
