June 17, 2025 · 1.0″ (quarter)

A report was received on mPing of quarter size hail in northern Lynn County.

June 6, 2025 · 3.25″ (tea cup)

A storm chaser reported hail measuring 3.25 inches in diameter west of Wilson. A swath of severe hail was then observed into the town of Wilson with hail up to the size of ping pongs in Wilson. No damage was reported at the time.

April 19, 2002 · 4.0″ (softball)

A three quarter of a mile wide swath of three to four inch diameter hail fell across southern Lynn County. A cotton gin and three homes near Wells were battered by this hail. Numerous windows were shattered and major roof damage occurred.
