Hail up to the size of half dollars fell for an extended period. Hail accumulated and covered the ground.

April 6, 2023 · 2.5″ (tennis ball)

Hail fell ranging from hen's egg size to tennis ball size within a region about three to four miles north-northeast to northeast of Gladys. At least two vehicles were damaged. One of the damaged vehicles was a medical unit and the other a county Sheriff's vehicle. The 2.5 hail is the largest known hailstone to fall in Campbell county.
